REGISTRATION IS WAY UP! REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE
Record numbers of cyclists have already signed up for the 2009 Seattle Century! We are poised to have a much larger ride than last year, something we've been planning for all year long. We're ready for you, so come on out and enjoy a day of well-supported cycling in Seattle.

If you have not already registered, save big when you register in advance online and even more when you register at Gregg's Cycles, Puget Sound-area REI stores or at BikeWorks.

This ride is a benefit for BikeWorks. Help us spread the word.

BRING YOUR CAMERAS
The Seattle Century is all about exploring Seattle and its fringes by bike, and that means experiencing some of the most beautify areas of the region. So we receommend bringing along your camera! This is a ride, not a race, so stop, enjoy the scenery, and take some pictures with your riding buddies! There are many wonderful views, sites and notable highlights along the course.

If you use Flickr, the free photo sharing website, you can load your photos into our group pool. This is a very cool way for riders to share photos.

Take a look at the slide show from last year's ride. >>

A GOURMET FINISH
We're preparing a gourmet finish line meal to satiate your palate at the end of a long, rewarding day!  You'll be treated to a menu of grilled salmon with marionberry beurre-blanc compote, grilled organic asparagus, rice pilaf with hazelnuts and dried cranberries, a mixed green salad with marionberry vinaigrette, fresh berry cobbler a la mode and free Widmer beer in the beer garden.

This takes place in the gorgeous gardens of Magnuson Park with the sounds of a classical string quartet wafting through the air, a dramatic an ice sculpture of the Seattle Century logo and varietal rose displays.

RGREAT FOOD ON COURSE
You might be surprised and you'll definitely be delighted by all the delicious food on the Seattle Century, a catered tour of Seattle! We're big fans of making sure that nourishment also means tantalized taste buds, so you can look forward to fresh Remlinger Farms pies, strawberry shortcake, hearty deli sandwiches on Dave's Killer Bread, Larabars, Gorge Delights Bars and so much more.

That menu is just on course. At the finish line, we step it up a notch with prepared-on-site salmon, freshly grilled asparagus, mixed greens salad with hazelnuts, scrumptious dessert and more. The finish line party also features free Widmer Brothers beer. What a great way to spend a day! We look forward to seeing you on course.
